Aurora Writing Instruments: Aurora Leonardo da Vinci


The exclusive Aurora Leonardo da Vinci writing instrument is available in two different versions. An Aurora Leonardo da Vinci fountain pen and an Aurora Leonardo da Vinci rolling ball pen. One Aurora Leonardo da Vinci version has a gold-plated barrel and cap with drawings from the Master's codex on the flight of birds engraved in blood red lacquer. The other Aurora Leonardo da Vinci version features the same engravings on the gold-plated cap, but has a burgundy resin barrel.

Both Aurora Leonardo da Vinci versions of the fountain pen have been produced in 1919 pieces for the world market, while 499 Aurora Leonardo da Vinci pieces have been produced for each version of the rolling ball pen. Both Aurora Leonardo da Vinci versions feature a gold-plated cap head with the serial number engraved on the top. Another distinctive trait of this unique Aurora Leonardo da Vinci pen is the clip, designed by Giampiero Bodino. It features an exclusive joint mechanism inspired by one of Leonardo's sketches on the flight of birds. The Aurora Leonardo da Vinci fountain pen features the innovative lever refill mechanism which is hidden under a gold-plated base. The Aurora Leonardo da Vinci 18kt. solid gold nib with innovative feather design features a finely worked and hand turned black resin joint. These splendid Aurora Leonardo da Vinci masterpieces are made even more precious by the rich presentation case made of wood and satin that also contains a customized paper-weight magnifying glass.
